O Salmo 45:1-9 refere-se a Jesus e os versículos 9-17 referem-se a esta Rainha. Foi São João testemunha da Assunção de Maria, a tradição ensina que sim, pelas Escrituras ele escreve:[5] [1]
| “ | "And a great portent (sign) appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars" (Revelation 12:1). | ” |
Claramente, São João reconhece a Bem-Aventurada Virgem Maria como "Rainha" do Céu, pois ele dá uma visão desta Mulher muito parecida com a Rainha encontrada no Salmo 45. Que São João vê o evento da Assunção de Maria com Salmos 45.
